Photos with a Mission

  • Resist ageism by depicting older adults as independent and engaged––even in the face of physical disabilities.

  • Foster intergenerational connections grounded in mutual respect by portraying people of all ages, young and old, enjoying activities together.

Our photo contest is designed to engage members of the community in helping us create images that echo our mission of making the Lower Kennebec a place where people of all ages can thrive. 

 

Photos will be used with permission by creators as part of a library of photos AFCLK can use for promoting the organization and its work.
