Handing cards to anyone and everyone - Looking for suggestions to get the word out. MCH/ Maine Health discharge planners? We are named in the United Way flyer and on their website. How do we get the word out to patients who are taken to the hospital, but don’t know how to get home? What are the hours of our drivers, what are after hours? Is this a town responsibility?.

• VTP Woolwich update- Marla. Working out great with marketing. Jennifer is getting to know the town and connecting with riders and drivers.

• VTP Georgetown update-Jim recruited another driver and signed up a new rider. Problem with finding a coordinator, may have found a substitute. Getting the word around town.

Started with Phippsburg Cares, an amazing group, connected with all volunteer organizations in town, helping promote VTP. Cards in town hall, library, churches. Cards are getting instant responses.

• Photo Project -Susan - kicked off. Posters are made. 8.5 x 11 flyers at bath printing -30. Judges are ready. Talking to Brightfield School in Bath. Can we have a mentoring event about taking photos? Get a student involved?? Send to guidance offices at lower Kennebec. Karin spoke to the senior center. They have an opening in July to mentor how to take photos, how to upload, etc. Spring into summer event, waterfront park, May 17 - promote AFCLK. Empty picture frames, people hold and take photos. The frame would have marketing for AFCLK: “Age positive, I’m age friendly”. Can we get next to a group like Brightfield?
