• Listening Sessions - Dates (Steering Committee Members are needed as note takers. Please sign up for one. All Listening Sessions include lunch provided by the Fountain and $20 gift card (choice of grocery or gas). Agenda for the listening sessions below.

• VTP AFCLK update - Karin
Our dide administrator Jennifer is very busy in Woolwich with currently 13 drivers and 12 riders. Some are needing weekly, biweekly, PT, cardiac rehab, grocery, dental visits. Still recruiting more drivers. Resource packets can't hold everything, example: significant needs for home repair. 6 year waiting list with Maine housing. Found a loan to pay for repairs.
Arrowsic 1 rider and 6 drivers.
Georgetown still has not many riders. At least 7 drivers.
Bath: Our group presented our current project/VTP to the Bath Transportation Committee: We are looking for someone to adopt the project in Bath. People Plus is still providing some rides in Bath.
• Photo Project Update (Susan not present) - Karin
Only 2 or 3 submissions at this time. We still have until the end of September. Brightfield School has interest in including a photo project in their curriculum, in intergenerational settings, to be explored further..
• New Business
-Mature Drivers program Session cancelled and rescheduled for Monday Oct. 6 12-1:30 at Maine Health, old Parkview Hospital. Older driver safety and mobility benefiting individuals, family members, and/or professionals, September 15 date was cancelled.
-Bath Housing will be selling their property at 150 Congress Avenue to the Developers Collaborative for the construction of new housing for BIW workers. Friday 9/12, from 9 am – noon, drop in. Developers Collaborative will be hosting an Open House for a last look at the building – and to share redevelopment plans. Please share widely! This is the United Church of Christ.
-September is Library Card Signup Month and the goal is to sign up 200 new cardholders. Please spread the word. A community evening is planned for October 22nd to explore what technical solutions patrons would love to see happening at the Library if there was no price tag attached.
Next meeting date and location: October 9, 3:30-4:30 at Maine Maritime Museum.
